#GAME3 14/07/17 Brighouse Town 3-1 Worksop Town

Brighouse Town 3-1 Worksop Town- Husbands (75)
MOTM: Steve Wankiwicz
Line-up: Kennedy, Hodder, Trench (Chappell), Husbands, Wankiewicz (Pickersgill), Liversidge, Scott (Jordan), Loftus (Parkin), Mcdonnell, Bishop, Woolley

The Tigers third friendly of the 17/18 preseason was a trip up to Brighouse Town who are in the Step above Worksop in the Evo-Stick Division One North.
It was the home side that would go in front on the 31st minute as a Brighouse Town Trialist netted the rebound of a shot that had hit the bar. Shortly after the Tigers could have had a penalty when Wankiewicz's glancing header appeared to strike the hand of a Brighouse Town defender. However the Ref waved away any claims and Brighouse went in at the break leading 1-0.
Worksop were level on 75 minutes when McDonnell played the ball to the edge of the box for Mitch Husbands to score. The scores weren't tied long as Brighouse went straight down the other end from kickoff and put them in front once again after the ball wasn't cleared quick enough and Adam Shaw poked the ball into the net. Midfielder, Matt Parkin then gave away a penalty when he handled the ball as he stopped a shot from going into the bottom corner. Subsequently, Adam Shaw got his second of the game from the spot despite Kennedy guessing the right way.
