#GAME15 22/08/17 Handsworth Parramore 2-1 Worksop Town

Handsworth Parramore 2-1 Worksop Town- Jordan (66)
ATT: 459
Lineup: Kennedy; Woolley, Liversidge (Turner), Wankiewicz, Phillips, Trench; Thompson, Barnett, Husbands (Bishop), Jordan, Simpson

The first Sandy Lane Derby of the season ended in defeat for the Tigers as the Amber Parras ran out 2-1 victors.
There was sheer disappointment around the Tigers faithful as they felt hard done to from how the game panned out and with how the referee conducted himself. A fairly timid first half with only a few chances however the second half sparked into life with three goals and and two yellow cars (with a further red given after the final whistle).
The opening stages were
very possession based and it seemed that both sides were happy to see each other pass the ball around and figure each other out. The first real chance came when Jed Phillips picked up the ball 35 yards out and hit a ferocious shot that struck the post.
Parramore took the lead when the Tigers failed to deal with an in-swinging corner and Froggatt was on hand to volley home. Town were level when Wankiewicz’s header rebounded off the post to the feet of Kyle Jordan who placed it home. However it wasn’t long until Handsworth got their winner as Aaron Moxam was sent through on goal to slot neatly into the corner.
Shortly after the first dismissal of the game and the season for the Tigers came when Matty Thompson misjudged his timing as he wiped out the Parramore winger and picked up his second yellow.
Worksop could and probably should have had a penalty when Jordan Turner was ragged to the ground as he went for a header, the ref gave nothing and booked Turner and Jordan in the aftermath.
In stoppage time Jordan was given his marching orders when he received a second yellow card when he pushed an opposing player and the game ended 2-1. Blythen was given a red after the game as the arguments carried on.
