The Tigers score 5 goals in two consecutive games as they defeat Harrogate Railway 5-3 to move up to fifth in the table.

Harrogate drew first blood as Hamilton threaded through the Worksop backline and then placed his shot past Jon Kennedy who was rooted to the spot.

Shortly after Captain Steve Woolley limped off the field holding his hamstring and was replaced by Simpson who slotted in up top, moving Conor Higginson on to the Right flank. Them two both combined five minutes later as Higgo won the ball off the oppositions midfielder and sent Simpson through on goal to tuck the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.

Moments before halftime Micah Bishop turned his marker and rifled his shot only inches past the wrong side of the post and both teams went in at halftime level.

Like the first half the visitors went into lead again four minutes after the restart as the ball dropped to an unmarked Brad Swain who only had to tap his shot in the net.

The team in Black and Amber equalised as Denton accelerated past the Railway right back and hit a ferocious shot past the goalkeeper and make it 2-2.

The home side were ahead for the first time in the game as Higginson put the ball on a plate for Micah Bishop to smash into the net at the back post.

However the visitors weren’t prepared to give up that easily when ex-Doncaster Rovers Striker Jason Price was on hand to walk the ball into the net when he was sent through on goal from his strike partner.

Worksop were back in the lead when Denton played the ball across the face of goal for Bishop to smash the ball into the net again like a carbon copy of Micah’s first goal of the evening.

Alec Denton put the Tigers faithful’s nerves and the game to bed when he spun his marker and hit a thunderous shot over the keeper into the roof of the net to make it 5-3.

Defensive errors almost cost Hindley’s men but the offensive trio of Higginson, Denton and Bishop prove too much for the Harrogate outfit to handle.
